Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine Walzenmühle umfassend zwei parallel angeordnete, gegeneinandergepresste und gegenläufig rotierende Walzen (1,1'), wobei eine der Walzen (1') orthogonal zur axialen Richtung dieser Walze (1') verschiebbar ist, zwei Antriebe, welche Antriebe je einer der beiden Walzen (1,1') zugeordnet sind und je einen Elektromotor (2,2') aufweisen, undeine Steuereinheit, wobei die Steuereinheit einem Master-Elekromotor (2) der Elektromotoren einen Sollwert (61) für die Drehzahl vorgibt, wobei die Steuereinheit einem Follower-Elektromotor (2') der Elektromotoren den Drehmomentistwert (62) oder den Drehzahlistwert (62) des Master-Elektromotors multipliziert mit einem Lastteilfaktor (64) als Sollwert (63) vorgibt.
