[origin: WO2015169671A1] The invention relates to a composite profile (1) for doors, windows or other façade elements, comprising at least one first metal profile (2) and at least one second metal profile (4), between which metal profiles (2, 4) at least one intermediate metal profile (6) is provided, said first metal outer profile (2) being connected to the intermediate metal profile (6) in a first insulating web zone I via one or more insulating web(s) (8, 22), and said second metal profile (4) being connected to the intermediate profile (6) in a second insulating web zone II via one or more insulating web(s) (9, 22). The composite profile is characterised in that both the insulating web zones I, II have different shear strengths orthogonally in relation to the cross-sectional plane of the composite profile (1).
