[origin: US2015327622A1] A sports boot having a rigid shell base designed to hold the foot of a user, the shell base including a sole and two lateral sides extending from the sole and defining an upper recess therebetween. The boot includes a mechanism for tightening the shell base around the foot of the user, the tightening mechanism including a filiform element for tightening the sides towards one another, the filiform element being tightened by pivoting a lever of the mechanism. The lever is provided to be pivoted in a notch of a rack designed to cover the two sides of the shell base in the tightened configuration and to bend the sides towards the sole under the pivoting action of the lever. The rack extends across the upper recess E2.

Cette chaussure de sport (1) comprend un bas de coque rigide (2) de maintien du pied d'un utilisateur, comportant une semelle (6) et deux flancs latéraux (2a, 2b) issus de la semelle qui définissent entre eux un évidement supérieur E2, et des moyens (M2) de serrage du bas de coque autour du pied de l'utilisateur, comprenant un élément filiforme (10) de serrage des flancs l'un en direction de l'autre, qui est serré par pivotement (R3) d'un levier (14). Le levier est prévu pour être pivoté dans un cran (160) d'une crémaillère (17), adaptée pour coiffer les deux flancs (2a, 2b) du bas de coque (2) en configuration serrée et cintrer (F1, F2) les flancs en direction de la semelle (6) sous l'action de pivotement (R3) du levier (14). Ladite crémaillère enjambe et traverse ledit évidement supérieur à E2.
