[origin: WO2006061287A1] The invention relates to a dishwashing machine equipped with a washing compartment and with devices for washing dishes using a washing solution as well as with a sorption drying device (1), which is connected to the washing compartment in an air-conducting manner and which comprises a heater (6) as well as a sorption column (3) containing reversibly dehydratable material (4). The sorption column is placed inside a housing (9) having an air inlet (13) and an air outlet (7), and the heater (6) is placed in the immediate vicinity of the air inlet (13) of the sorption column (3).

Es wird eine Geschirrspülmaschine mit einem Spülbehälter und Vorrichtungen zum Spülen von Geschirr mittels Spülflotte sowie mit einer Sorptionstrockenvorrichtung (1) beschrieben, die mit dem Spülbehälter luftleitend verbunden ist und eine Heizung (6) sowie eine Sorptionskolonne (3) mit reversibel dehydrierbarem Material (4) aufweist. Die Sorptionskolonne ist hierbei in einem Gehäuse (9) mit einem Lufteinlass (13) und einem Luftauslass (7) angeordnet, wobei die Heizung (6) in unmittelbarer räumlicher Nähe zu dem Lufteinlass (13) der Sorptionskolonne (3) angeordnet ist.
