Abstract (en)
A management system in a telecommunication environment comprising a femto access network and a wifi access network is described. The management system comprises - a first collector adapted to collect femto layer performance monitoring data that comprises values for femto layer management parameters of the femto access network; and - a second collector adapted to collect wifi access layer performance monitoring data that comprises values for wifi access layer management parameters of the wifi access network. The management system further comprises an analytics diagnostic engine with decision logic for predefined normalized management parameters. Each one of the predefined normalized management parameters is defined in relation to at least one of the femto layer management parameters and at least one of the wifi access layer management parameters. The analytics diagnostic engine is adapted to receive the collected femto layer performance monitoring data and the wifi access layer performance monitoring data, and is further adapted to generate action signals for managing network elements of both, the femto access network and the wifi access network.
