[origin: WO2014114855A1] The invention concerns a hybrid vehicle, a device (CTL) for controlling the drive train of the hybrid vehicle and the control method for transitioning from a first drive mode to a second drive mode of the drive train. The invention comprises means for generating a time delay in order to force the transition at the end of the time delay, and to force the transition before the end of the time delay if a request is received from the driver by the control device, originating from an interface means (IHM2), for example the acceleration pedal. The invention applies to hybrid vehicles capable of operating in a plurality of drive modes with a view to improving the comfort of driving.
