[origin: WO2014114490A1] The invention relates to a winding machine for continuously winding synthetic threads, comprising a plurality of rotatably supported winding revolvers (2.1-2.4). The winding revolvers are retained next to one another at a spacing distance in a machine frame and each have two protruding winding spindles (4.1-4.4, 5.1-5.4). A plurality of changing units (7.1-7.4) and a plurality of contact rollers (6.1-6.4) for forming a plurality of winding points are associated with the winding revolvers, wherein the winding revolvers can be driven by means of a common revolver drive (16). In order to be able to operate a plurality of winding points with low control complexity, the winding revolvers can be driven in the same direction, wherein the contact rollers and the changing units are retained symmetrically on the machine frame (1) along a machine longitudinal side at the spacing distance of the winding revolvers.
