Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2014114865A1] The invention relates to an arrangement for connecting a downstream end portion (26) of an exhaust gas recirculation pipe (22) to a recirculation port (28) of an intake circuit (16) of a motor vehicle combustion engine (12) with thermal decoupling in that connection, a radial clearance (J) being left between said downstream end portion (26) and a peripheral wall of the recirculation port (28), the arrangement comprising a thermal decoupling ring (36) which is arranged around the downstream end portion (26) so as to fill the radial clearance (J) and which is fixed in a sealed manner to the recirculation pipe (22), characterized in that the fixing of the ring (36) to the downstream end portion (26) is offset upstream of the recirculation port (28).
