[origin: US2014202910A1] A multiple purpose container and decorative item includes a container portion and a cap portion. The container portion has an interior cavity. A product is disposed within the cavity. The container portion is sized and shaped to achieve multiple functions to contain the product within the cavity and to achieve a decorative or aesthetic appearance. The cap portion is selectively affixed to the container to open and close access to the interior cavity and the product stored therein. The cap portion includes a selectively deployable fastener. The fastener is rotatable about an axis between a closed or stored position and an open or deployed position. In the deployed position, the fastener allows the multiple purpose container and decorative item to be hung from a surface.
