[origin: WO2014114894A1] This method for detecting fraud can be implemented by an HSS server in an IMS network. It comprises: - a step (E10) of receiving a message (MSG) originating from an I- CSCF or S-CSCF entity, said message mentioning a public identity (IDPUB) and a private identity (IDPRIV), and - a step (E15) of verifying the validity and the consistency of said public (IDPUB) and private (IDPRIV) identities, said message (MSG) further mentioning at least one address (ADPUB, ADPRIV) of a user of the IMS network. This method comprises, if said validity (E15) is not verified: - a step (E20) of storing an item of information according to which fraud has been detected for a set comprising said public identity (IDPUB), said private identity (IDPRIV) and said at least one address (ADPUB, ADPRIV).
