Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2759394A1] Decorative panel support plate based on a thermoplastic material, made of a raw material comprising a filler and a pore-forming agent, is claimed. The proportion of filler in the raw material is 10-60 wt.%, preferably 20-45 wt.% and the support plate has a porosity of 10-45 wt.%, which is calculated by the formula (100-(density of plate/density of raw material)x 100). The density is in kg/m 3> of the decorative panel support plate. Independent claims are also included for: (1) producing the decorative panel support plate comprising mixing a granular and/or powdery thermoplastic base material with at least one filler and at least one pore-forming agent, applying the produced raw material on a press plate or introducing the raw material into an extruder, heating the material at 80-220[deg] C, preferably 80-180[deg] C and pressing the raw material at a pressure of 0.5-30 kN/cm 2>, preferably 1-10 kN/cm 2> or calendering the polymer composition coming out of the extruder to a desired carrier plate thickness, and re-cooling the obtained plate to = 90[deg] C, preferably = 70[deg] C; (2) a decorative panel comprising the support plate and a layer applied on at least one side of the support plate decorative layer; and (3) a decorative panel comprising a profile at least in an edge region of the plate-shaped support where the profile is configured in such a way that several decorative panels are releasably connectable using corresponding profiles.
