Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2014118364A1] The invention relates to a retaining device for retaining a glass pane (16) or other door filling in a door opening of a door leaf (18), comprising a profiled base (10) or a multipart base (50) for arranging on an end face of the door opening. The profiled base (10) or the base (50) has a latching web (26) oriented towards the plane (14) of the pane. The retaining device also comprises at least one retaining strip (12) which has an end portion (38) for resting on the glass pane (16), said end portion (38) being latchable to the latching web (26) in an intermediate area between the glass pane (16) and a side of the corresponding latching web (26), said side facing the glass pane. The multipart base (50) has a securing portion with clamping jaws (56; 58) for arranging in a cutout of the door leaf (18), a distance (B) between the clamping jaws (56; 58) being adjustable by means of a guiding device (62). A locking device (70) locks the clamping jaws (56; 58) from moving in a guiding direction (A) which corresponds to a reduction of the distance (B).
