[origin: EP2765536A1] The method involves providing or producing a body (1) of object comprising a recess (11) for receiving a micromodule and connection areas (3a, 3b) in the recess. The micromodule comprising conductive pads (9) on a front face is produced, where the pads are defined by a periphery and connection portions (10) are folded toward a rear face of the micromodule. The micromodule is inserted into the recess, and the portions are brought into electrical connection with the areas. The areas are extended in the recess perpendicular to direction of insertion of the micromodule into the recess. An independent claim is also included for a portable object.
