[origin: CA2894124A1] A folding machine (1, 9, 15, 27) for processing large-format documents with a housing (13, 15) having an intake slot (4, 12, 30) for the documents and a document chute (17) adjoining the intake slot (4, 12, 30) is constructed such that the problems of known folding machines are avoided and that the folding machine can be used both on line and off line. To this end it is suggested that the housing (16) has at least one additional feed for documents with a document chute (18) adjoined thereto, that the document chutes (17, 18) are brought together in a junction (19) and that the first feed (4) with a manual feed tray (2) for offline intake feeding of documents and the additional feed (22) with an interface (20) for online intake feeding (22) of documents can be brought in connection.
