[origin: WO2014125186A1] The invention relates to a sealed and thermally insulating wall for a tank for storing fluid, having: • an insulating panel (1) having an inner face; and • a sealing plate (7) having an inner face, intended to be in contact with the fluid contained in the tank, and an outer face anchored to the inner face of the panel (1) at a plurality of anchoring zones (14), said sealing plate (7) having at least one corrugation (8; 9), protruding from the side of the inner face of the sealing plate (7), extending in a direction d1 (x; y); wherein: • the inner face of the insulating panel (1) has, between two adjacent anchoring zones (14) that are disposed on either side of said corrugation (8; 9), a relaxation slot (15; 16) having an axis extending in the direction d1 (x, y) so as to allow a deformation of the corrugation transversely to the direction d1 (x, y); and • the relaxation slot (15; 16) has a length less than the dimension of the insulating panel (1) along the axis of the relaxation slot (15; 16).
