Kosmetikapplikator (1) mit einem die Applikationsorgane in Gestalt von Borsten (6) und/oder Kammzinken tragenden Kern, wobei der Kern einen Zentralkörper (2) umfasst, der vorzugsweise auch selbst mit einer Vielzahl unmittelbar von ihm nach außen abstehenden Borsten (6) und/oder Kammzinken besetzt ist, wobei der Kern mindestens einen von dem Zentralkörper (2) nach außen abstehenden Flügel (3a, 3b, ...3n) umfasst, der seinerseits mit einer Mehrzahl von Borsten (6) und/oder Kammzinken besetzt ist, und der relativ zu dem Zentralkörper (2) beweglich ist, wobei der Flügel (3a, 3b, ...3n) mehrere voneinander beabstandete Scharniere aufweist, mittels derer er jeweils nur örtlich an den Zentralkörper angelenkt ist.
