[origin: WO2015197822A1] The invention discloses and describes a walking aid (1) with a support tube (3) which has a grip portion and a free end (5), with a foot element (7) provided at the free end (5) of the support tube (3), which foot element (7) is movable along a longitudinal direction of the support tube (3) between a retracted position and an extended position on the support tube (3) and has a hollow configuration, with support feet (9), of which first ends (11) are mounted on the free end (5) of the support tube (3) so as to be pivotable about pivot axes extending perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the support tube (3), such that the support feet (9) are able to pivot between a folded-in position, in which the support feet (9) extend parallel to each other along the longitudinal direction of the support tube (3), and a folded-out position, in which the second ends of the support feet (9) remote from the first ends (11) are moved away from each other and the support feet (9) extend at an inclination with respect to the longitudinal direction of the support tube (3), with pretensioning means which pretension the support feet (9) in the folded-out position, wherein the foot element (7), in the extended position beyond the pivot axes, extends away from the free end (5) of the support tube (3), such that the support feet (9) are at least partially received in the foot element (7) and are prevented from pivoting into the folded-out position, and wherein the foot element (7), in the retracted position, releases the support feet (9) in such a way that they are able to pivot into the folded-out position.
