[origin: WO2014131657A1] In an apparatus for producing pellets from bulk material, in particular soft bulk material provided with meltable fractions, for example waste, plastics material or household refuse, comprising an annular die (1) in which there are formed radially oriented pressing channels (2) that extend from an inner surface (3) of the annular die (1) to an outer surface (4) of the annular die (1), wherein the annular die (1) has a horizontal rotation axis (13) passing through the midpoint thereof and is configured to be drivable in a rotation direction (12) by a drive unit, and wherein the annular die (1) bounds a compression chamber (5), and has at least one working koller wheel (6), arranged in the compression chamber (5), for compressing and pressing the bulk material to be pelletized into the pressing channels (2); provision is made according to the invention for the apparatus to have a first and a second machine body (20, 30), wherein the two machine bodies (20, 30) are separable in the direction of the horizontal rotation axis (13) of the annular die (1), wherein the annular die (1) is mounted in the first machine body (20) and the at least one working koller wheel (6) is mounted in the second machine body (30).
