Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2014132195A1] A foldable container (1) has a base (2) and four side walls (3, 4), the side walls (4) having end edges with locking elements and one or more ribs that extend on the inner surface and/or the outer surface from the end edge. When the containers are stacked, the ribs engage either between the locking elements and/or between additional ribs, with the result that stacked containers cannot slip in the longitudinal direction. The end edges are formed in a step-like shape and have a protruding edge, whereby slipping in the transverse direction is also prevented. The invention thus has the effect that the containers are deformed less during transport and can be folded up more easily. The invention allows stacking and folding by means of robots.
