[origin: WO2014134651A1] The invention relates to a method for producing a gun barrel (1) with integrally adjoining housing (2) for at least one breech head, comprising the steps: providing a cylindrical blank (20) having a through-bore (21) corresponding to the breech head diameter; hammering a first longitudinal portion (20') of the blank (20) on a part (13) of a first hammering mandrel (11) corresponding to the barrel interior profile while the mandrel is being guided through the through-bore (21); and hammering a second longitudinal portion (20'') of the blank (20) on a second hammering mandrel (12) corresponding to the housing interior profile while the mandrel is inserted into the through-bore (21).
