[origin: WO2014135266A1] In a method for adjusting a radial gap (20) between two tools (16, 17) for transforming a planar support (2), an arrangement (18) for transforming the support (2) comprises: - first and second rotating cylindrical transformation tools (16, 17), each provided with two tapered side bearing rings (21, 22, 23, 24), and arranged and cooperating together to transform the support (2), - first and second side bearings (26, 27), holding the first tool (16) for rotation (Rs), - third and fourth side bearings (29, 31), holding the second tool (17) for rotation (Ri), - clamping elements (34, 37) for clamping together the first and third bearings (26, 29), and the second and fourth bearings (27, 31). The method comprises the steps consisting of: - loosening the clamping elements (34, 37), - pushing (U) the first bearing (26) away from the third bearing (29), and the second bearing (27) away from the fourth bearing (31), according to a predetermined distance (e), - modifying (L) a lateral position of at least one of the rings (21, 22), - bringing (D) the first bearing (26) towards the third bearing (29), and the second bearing (27) towards the fourth bearing (31), and - retightening the clamping elements (34, 37).
