[origin: WO2014135440A1] The invention relates to a known pivotable backrest assembly, in which a container receptacle for at least one beverage container is integrated, which container receptacle is open toward a functional surface of the backrest assembly and comprises a cover trim that is at least substantially flush with the functional surface and a side wall region and a bottom region. According to the invention, the bottom region is retained in an elastically evasive manner with respect to a backrest surface of the backrest assembly to which the bottom region is adjacent. The invention further relates to the use of the pivotable backrest assembly for center arm rests for passenger cars.
