Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2014135533A1] The invention relates to a driving system for a rapid grounding device, which is relatively compact and allows the back and forth movement of the follower cap (2) of the grounding rod (1) over the determined length. It comprises a trigger (6) mounted pivotably on a perpendicular shaft secured to the grounding rod (1). During the closing of the grounding device, the trigger, by means of the blocking end (6c) thereof, allows the driving of a colonette carrier (10) in relation to which the follower cap (2) is fixed over a determined length, and during the opening phases of the grounding device, allows said colonette carrier (10) to be driven in the opposite direction by means of an abutment end (6B), once the trigger (6) has been pivoted. The invention is applicable to the rapid grounding device.
