[origin: WO2014149319A1] The present invention provides a leaflet (140) for use in a prosthetic valve (100) that stabilizes the motion of the leaflet as it moves between a closed position and an open position. In accordance with embodiments, a prosthetic valve is provided with a leaflet (140) that contains a stiffening element (150) between layers of film from which the leaflet is made.
