An absorbent sheet product (1) comprising a first sheet section (2) partially coupled to a distinct second sheet section (3), wherein the first sheet section (2) is at least partially coupled to the second sheet section (3) along a first edge of said sheet sections (2, 3) so as to form: - at the first edge, an association area (4) forming a gripping zone (5) for a user hand (10), and - at another edge opposite to the first edge, a free edge (15) forming an openable area wherein the first sheet section (2) is freely separable from the second sheet section (3) such as to form a contacting and absorbing zone (8) when opened.
