[origin: WO2014146899A1] The invention relates to a safety envelope for covering an item, in particular a receptacle, comprising a sleeve (1) made from heat-shrinkable plastic which is equipped on the outer face thereof with a safety strip (2) made from a delaminable multi-layer material, the sleeve having at least one cut line (3) passing under the strip such that the latter is torn and delaminated upon cutting of the sleeve along said cut line. The invention likewise relates to an item covered with a safety envelope of this type and also to a method for affixing information to the sleeve and the safety strip of a safety envelope of this type.
