[origin: WO2014155307A2] The invention relates to a chronograph, comprising a center second hand (1) and a center minute hand (2). The chronograph has a second wheel (3), which has an entraining spring (5), and a pulse-receiving wheel (6), wherein the entraining spring (5) is designed to engage with the pulse-receiving wheel (6). Furthermore, a drive wheel (7) and a zeroing wheel (8) are provided, wherein the zeroing wheel (8) is in constant engagement with the drive wheel (7). The chronograph also comprises a pulse-transmitting wheel (9) and minute wheel (10), wherein the minute wheel (10) is in constant engagement with the pulse-transmitting wheel (9) and the center minute hand (2) is rigidly connected to the minute wheel (10). Finally, a second shaft (4) is provided, wherein the second wheel (3) and the center second hand (1) are rigidly connected to the second shaft (4). According to the invention, the chronograph has a multifunction shaft (18) oriented parallel to the second shaft (4), wherein the pulse-receiving wheel (6), the drive wheel (7), and the pulse-transmitting wheel (9) are coaxially rigidly connected to the multifunction shaft (18).
