Eine Fadenzuführvorrichtung für Rundstrickmaschinen mit Ringelapparaten (14), die Fadenleitrohre (10) in einer Anzahl je Ringelapparat (14) aufweist, die der Anzahl der durch die Ringelapparate (14) verarbeitbaren Fäden entspricht, wobei die Fadenleitrohre (10) jeweils zwischen einer Aufnahme (11) für eine Fadenspule und einem dem Ringelapparat (14) vorgeschalteten Ringelfournisseur (12) angeordnet und mit einer Fadensensoreinrichtung (13) versehen sind, wobei die Fadensensoreinrichtungen (13) aller einer Strickstelle (15) zugeordneten Fadenleitrohre (10) gemeinsam durch eine Überwachungseinrichtung auswertbar sind und wobei durch die Überwachungseinrichtung bei Detektion eines Fadenfehlers ein Stoppsignal für die Maschinensteuerung generierbar ist.
