[origin: WO2014162258A1] The buckle for a belt or strap comprises at least two articulated levers (13,15) via an axis (14), wherein a first of said levers (13) is further articulated to a base (10) of the buckle and a second of said levers (15) is articulated to a pin unit (40) carrying at least one pin (41 ), and a releasable locking mechanism between said levers (13,15), wherein by relative rotation of said second lever (15) with respect to said first lever (13), the pin unit is moved from a first position to a second position, one of said position being a tight position and the other being a loose position of the belt (6).
