[origin: WO2014161951A1] The invention relates to a shaped wire element, produced by a forming process from at least one wire and designed to allow the passage of a flowing mass. According to the invention the wire has a polygonal cross-section which is constant along its length, and is disposed in the shaped wire element in such a way that the spatial orientation of the wire undergoes continuous change along its length.
