According to the invention each limb part (2) has a corner component (4) which, starting from a limb region (6), runs via a rounded or non-rounded corner (4a) into a joining region (5), in which the connecting element (5) of the limb part (2) is designed for connection to at least one corresponding terminal connecting element (5b) of the crosspiece (3), wherein the connecting region (5) is oriented at an acute angle, a right angle or an obtuse angle to the limb region (6). The invention further relates to a covering and holding device for weather protection of capstones and masonry, which comprises at least one above-mentioned modularly designed wall bracket (1) and a covering.
