[origin: WO2014166610A1] The invention relates to a cleaning textile comprising a textile support layer (1) with at least one cleaning side (2). Cleaning loops (3) which project so as to rise up from the support layer (1) are arranged on the cleaning side (2), and the cleaning loops (3) are combined into at least two cleaning islands (4, 5). The cleaning islands (4, 5) are arranged adjacently to each other with at least one spacing (6). The spacing (6) is formed as an intersection region (7) which extends on the support layer (1) from one of the outer borders (8, 9) of the support layer to another of the outer borders (9, 8) of the support layer, and the intersection region (7) is formed so as to be free of the cleaning loops (3).
