[origin: WO2014167587A1] Break-in resistant double-bit lock (1) and related key (2), in which the access opening (3) to the accommodation cavity of the key (2) is contoured so as to define a central portion (4) from which branch two mutually opposite slots (5, 6); at least one of the slots (5, 6) comprises a portion (7, 8), with a curved progression, with the lower edge arranged at a height that is substantially not lower than the midpoint plane of the respective slot (5, 6); the head (9) of the key (2) comprises a central body (10) from which branch two mutually opposite tongues (11, 12), of which at least one is provided with at least one respective codifiable edge (13, 14); at least one of such tongues (11, 12) comprises a region (15, 16), with a curved progression, with the lower edge arranged at a height that is substantially not lower than the midpoint plane of the respective tongue (11, 12) of the head (9) of the key (2).
