[origin: WO2014167213A2] The invention relates to a sealed and thermally insulating tank for storing a fluid, said sealed tank comprising an external bearing structure (1), a thermal insulation barrier (2) held on the bearing structure (1) and a sealing barrier (3) supported by the thermal insulation barrier (2), the thermal insulation barrier (2) comprising a corner structure arranged at the intersection between a first and a second wall (6, 7) of the bearing structure (1), said corner structure comprising a first and a second lagged panel (18, 19) each having an external face positioned facing the bearing structure (1), an internal face provided with a member (22) for anchoring the sealing barrier (3) and lateral edges (20, 21), the first panel (18) comprising an external face resting against the first wall (6) of the bearing structure (1) and a lateral edge (20) resting against the second wall (7) of the bearing structure (1), the second panel (19) comprising an external face resting against the second wall (7) of the bearing structure (1) and a lateral edge (21) resting against the external face of the first panel (18).
