Abstract (en)

[origin: CA2909563A1] According to the invention, at least one support plate is arranged between the crushing shells and the shaft, in a removably connected manner thereto. According to the invention, the support plate is designed to have a cylinder shape. A support plate according to the invention has means for removable connection to a shaft in the cylinder interior and means for fastening crushing shells on the outer cylinder surface. The axial length of a support plate is dependent on the specific application case. In the simplest case, there is a support plate which bears all crushing tools of the crushing roll. However, a plurality of support plates can also be arranged axially adjacent to each other. The configuration of the crushing roll can be advantageously changed by replacing the support plate(s). It is thus possible to change the configuration of the crushing roll via a relative change of the circumferential position of the means for removable connection to a shaft in the interior of the support plate relative to the circumferential position of the means for fastening the crushing shells to the outer surface. The infeed behavior of the crusher can thus be advantageously and simply changed without replacing the entire crushing roll.
