[origin: WO2014170083A1] The invention relates to an internal gear pump (1) for a slip-controlled hydraulic vehicle braking system, which internal gear pump (1) has a pinion (2), an internal gear (3) and a separating piece (7) which is arranged between the pinion (2) and the internal gear (3), has an inner part (12) and an outer part (13), and separates a suction chamber (8) from a pressure chamber (9). The invention proposes to allow the separating piece (7) to protrude counter to a rotational direction (P) of the internal gear pump (1) beyond a sealing point (19) of the inner part (12) on the outer part (13) to such an extent that the inner part (12) and the outer part (13) bear in front of the sealing point (19) against at least one tooth tip of a tooth of the pinion (2) and of the internal gear (3) of the internal gear pump (1). As a result, tilting of the inner part (12) and of the outer part (13) away from the pinion (2) and from the internal gear (3) about the sealing point (19) is avoided.
