Ein Bodenverdichter, umfassend wenigstens eine um eine Walzendrehachse drehbare Verdichterwalze (14, 16), wenigstens eine Randbearbeitungsvorrichtung (34, 34') sowie ein Flüssigkeits-Speicher/Abgabe-System (22) zur Speicherung und Abgabe von Flüssigkeit zu wenigstens einer Verdichterwalze (14, 16) und wenigstens einer Randbearbeitungsvorrichtung (34, 34') ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Flüssigkeits-Speicher/Abgabe-System (12) wenigstens eine erste Flüssigkeitspumpe (52, 54) zum Fördern von Flüssigkeit zu wenigstens einer einer Verdichterwalze (14, 16) zugeordneten ersten Flüssigkeitsabgabeeinheit (64, 66) und wenigstens eine zweite Flüssigkeitspumpe (56) zum Fördern von Flüssigkeit zu wenigstens einer einer Randbearbeitungsvorrichtung (34, 34') zugeordneten zweiten Flüssigkeitsabgabeeinheit (82, 84) umfasst.
