The measuring insert (4) comprises a measurement section (8), wherein a main flow line of the medium follows through the measurement section (8) in a flow direction during operation. The measuring section (8) has an inner space, the main flow line of the medium follows through the inner space during operation, and a measuring channel wall (17) seals the inner space. At least one slave flow path (18) for slave flow line of the medium is formed in an intermediate space (17a) between an outer side of the measuring channel wall, departing from the inner space, and an inner side of a housing wall of the housing (2). Each slave flow path (18) at least partially extends at an inclination angle (Beta) greater than 0 degrees with the flow direction. At least two webs (23, 24) are arranged between the outer side of the measuring channel wall and the inner side of the housing wall, the webs are successively arranged in the flow direction, and each web is provided with at least one web recess section (19, 20, 21, 22). The web recess sections form through openings extending in the flow direction, and through openings of the web (23) are configured to radially, laterally or tangentially shift relative to the flow direction and along the through openings of the adjacent web (24).
