[origin: WO2014173836A1] The invention relates to a photoluminescence measuring apparatus (1), a calibration method therefor, and a measuring method for determining the absolute photoluminescence efficiency of flat samples (3). The photoluminescence measuring apparatus (1) comprises a UV illumination device (41) arranged on or in the measuring chamber (13) in order to illuminate an illumination region (53) of the test plane (19) in a sample opening (17) with monochromatic UV light through the measuring chamber (13), • a measuring device (131), which is sensitive in a predefined spectral range, and an output device (221) for outputting a photoluminescence measurement result, wherein the measuring device (131) is arranged relative to the UV illumination device (41) on or in the measuring chamber (13) such that, for each point of the illumination region (53) in the test plane (19) which is illuminated by the UV illumination device (41) during the operation thereof, it holds true that, from light radiation in the predefined spectral range which emerges from said point into the measuring chamber (13) with a Lambertian emitter radiation characteristic, part of the light radiation is detected by the measuring device, and • the UV illumination device (41) has a UV light source (67) designed to radiate a specific UV excitation radiation power onto the illumination region (53) in the case of predefined operating parameters, and • wherein an evaluation device (211) is arranged between the measuring device (131) and the output device (221) and is coupled to a storage device (201) with a calibration value (K) stored therein, wherein the evaluation device (221) is designed to convert an amplified measurement signal (MM) of the measuring device (131) into a photoluminescence efficiency (FE) of a sample on the basis of the stored calibration value (K).
