Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2014174024A1] The invention relates to a luminaire which has at least one first LED light source (1, 1') for emitting a first light, at least one first light-directing element (2, 2') for influencing the direction of the first light, at least one second LED light source (3, 3') for emitting a second light, and at least one second light-directing element (4, 4') for influencing the direction of the second light. The at least one first light-directing element (2, 2') is in this case configured in such a way that it effects an asymmetric light output of the first light. The at least one second light-directing element (4, 4') has an identical configuration to the at least one first light-directing element (2, 2') and is in this case arranged in a position rotated through 180° relative to the at least one first light-directing element (2, 2'). When the at least one first LED light source (1, 1') is switched on and the at least one second LED light source (3, 3') is switched off, an asymmetrical light output which is particularly suitable as task lighting can be achieved by the luminaire; if the mentioned LED light sources (1, 1', 3, 3') are all switched on, on the other hand, a symmetrical light output can be achieved, i.e. a light output which is particularly suitable as general lighting.
