Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2014202239A1] Disclosed is an arrangement for three-dimensional surface scanning of an object, the arrangement comprising a support piece with optical markings that allows quick and easy scanning of, for example, holes. The arrangement and the method allow the actual geometry of an object that is to be scanned to be compared with the desired geometry of the object. Moreover, the surface of the object is measured using photographs taken from different directions in space, and can be transferred to a three-dimensional CAD model to provide texture.
