[origin: WO2014174157A1] A system for mobile booking includes a mobile-terminal device that can be connected to the internet via a network. The mobile-terminal device is arranged with the aid of an internet browser for selecting alternatives on a website. By entering of a user identifier, such as a telephone number or subscriber data, in the website the user will be identified to receive a short message SMS to indicate the selection made by the user. The booking will be confirmed by a reply message. The making of a mobile booking requires only a mobile terminal device on the user's part, without special password cards or similar. By combining the use of SMS and the websites, mobile booking and maintenance of alternatives can be easily performed.
