The supporting sealing element is fixed to a support that can be vertically adjusted for vertically adjusting the support between at least two functional positions. The supporting sealing element is lifted so far in the first functional position so as to abut the sliding base plate on a fabric ground. The supporting sealing element is decreased in the second functional position and supports the suction head on the firm ground so as to form a gap between the edge of the suction port and the firm ground. The gap between the edge of the suction port and the firm ground can be adjusted between two different preset values.
