[origin: EP2990340A2] The present invention discloses a method and a device for packaging individual products using horizontal flow packaging machines that possess an infeed conveyor that feed products individually into a packaging tunnel that seals the packaging lengthwise along the bottom using sealing media, and then seals the packaging transversally to form individual packages for each product, characterized by the injection of a gas stream into the packaging tunnel before the lengthwise sealing. The capillary device allows gas to be injected horizontally, that is, in the direction of the wrapping process.
