[origin: EP2990774A1] Provided is a vehicular diagnostic system (1) provided with the following: a communication terminal (4, 22) that transmits, to a server (2), vehicle information acquired from a vehicle (9); and said server (2), which performs a diagnostic on the vehicle (9) by analyzing the vehicle information received from the communication terminal (4, 22). The server (2) is provided with an acquisition-category notification portion (61) that notifies the communication terminal (4, 22) of categories of vehicle information that are needed for the diagnostic and should be acquired from the vehicle (9). The communication terminal (4, 22) acquires vehicle information from the vehicle (9) in accordance with the vehicle-information categories of which the server (2) notified the communication terminal (4, 22) and transmits the acquired vehicle information to the server (2) in real-time.
