Abstract (en)

The invention provides a hybrid checkout station configured for operating both in an employee-assisted mode and a self-service mode, comprising a desk defining a predetermined footprint area and a moving system (40) comprising a first frame (41) to which is fastened said desk and at least one actuating device (44, 45) having a first end (70) fastened to said first frame and a second end (71) opposite to said first end and configured to be fixedly linked to a floor on which is laid said station; said actuating device being configured for displacing said first frame only in said footprint area between a first position in which said station is configured to operate in said employee-assisted mode and a second position in which said station is configured to operate in said self-service mode.
