Abstract (en)
The present invention relates to a watt-hour meter (1) for measuring usage of electricity, said watt-hour meter (1) comprising at least one current transformer (2) having a magnetic core (2) encircling a line conductor (4) and through the windings of which a current flow is induced in response to a magnetic field being induced by a current flow through said line conductor (4), said watt-hour meter (1) further comprising a magnetic shield (6) for shielding said at least one current transformer (2) against external magnetic fields.
