Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2014146979A1] A mounting element (10) that is fixable without tools in an opening (30, 38) in a component (32, 44) has a thickness, width and length and an outer side (12), wherein the mounting element (10) is not expandable in the thickness or width direction and has on its outer side (12) at least one cutout (22) which is delimited by a boundary and into which a restorable barbed arm (24) having a barb (14, 16) at its free end projects in a manner protruding from a peripheral region of the cutout (22). The barb (14, 16) projects beyond a plane, defined by the boundary of the cutout (22), towards the outer side (12) of the mounting element (10). Insertion into a receiving cutout opening (30, 38) in the component (32, 44), said receiving cutout opening (30, 38) being adjoined by a receiving cutout (34, 40), delimited by an inner side (36, 42), in the component (32, 44), results in the barbed arm (24) being bent, forming a pressure force of the barb (14, 16) against the inner side (36, 42) of the receiving cutout (34, 40) in the component (32, 44), and in a retaining force of the mounting element (10) in the receiving cutout (34, 40) in the component (32, 44). Pushing through a rear-engagement opening in the component results in the barbed arm (24) being bent, forming a restoring force, acting on the barbed arm (24), for engaging behind the opening in the component by way of the barb (14, 16). From the peripheral region of the cutout (22), from which the barb (24) protrudes, there extends a lever protrusion (26) that extends obliquely outwards and faces away from the barbed arm (24), said lever protrusion (26) exerting an additional pressure force on the barb (14, 16) upon introduction into a receiving cutout opening (30, 38) in the component (32, 44), said additional pressure force likewise acting in the direction of the pressure force, brought about as a result of the bending of the barbed arm (24), of the barb (14, 16), wherein the lever protrusion (26) itself likewise exerts a pressure force on the inner side (36, 34) of the receiving cutout (34, 40) and thus brings about an additional retaining force, or said lever protrusion (26) exerting an additional rear-engagement releasing movement and/or a rear-engagement preload on the barb (14, 16) in the event of introduction into a rear-engagement opening in the component, as a result of an associated inward movement.
