[origin: WO2014183193A1] A method of digital communication for a mobile subscriber comprises registering information related to the mobile subscriber. In use, when mobile virtual communication software installed on the digital communication device is enabled, communication is established over the Internet between the mobile digital communication device and server. A virtual telephone number is provided to the home service provider as the active call forwarding telephone number. The call forwarding feature for the telephone number is activated. The essential mechanism is set up at the server and at the mobile virtual communication software to support call routing to the mobile digital communication device. Digital data sent to the telephone number registered with the home service provider is forwarded to the server, and is subsequently forwarded via the Internet to the mobile digital communication device, whereat the mobile virtual communication software uses the digital data to establish communications with the mobile digital communication device.
