Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2998426A1] A laundry washing machine (100) is proposed. The laundry washing machine (100) comprises a tub (115) for containing treatment liquids, the tub (115) comprising a sump (120) fluidly connected or connectable to a draining circuit (125) of the washing machine (100), and a valve/filter assembly (145) adapted to be removably positioned in a filter seat (150) provided in the sump (120) for intercepting and filtering the treatment liquids while passing from said tub (115) to said draining circuit (125). Said valve/filter assembly (145) comprises: a receptacle (210 R ) having an inlet (210 I ) for the access of the treatment liquids coming from the tub (115), and a filtering surface (210 FS ) through which said treatment liquids coming from the tub (115) can pass to said draining circuit (125), said filtering surface (210 FS ) being adapted to retain within said receptacle (210 R ) foreign bodies entering said inlet (210 I ), a valve seat (215) fixed or fixable to an open end of said receptacle (210 R ), and a valve element (205) pivotally hinged to said valve seat (215) so as to swing within the receptacle (210 R ), when said valve seat (215) is fixed to said receptacle (210 R ), between a closed position in which the valve element (205) abuts the valve seat (215), thereby preventing passage of liquid from said tub (115) to said draining circuit (125), and an opened position in which the valve element (205) is at least partially spaced from said valve seat (215), thereby allowing liquid to pass from said tub (115) to said draining circuit (125) trough said filtering surface (210 FS ) of said receptacle (210 R ).
